In cold chain logistics buildings, EPS molded polystyrene insulation board plays a key role in insulation, but condensation may affect its insulation effect and the normal use of the building.
First, ensure the installation quality of EPS PS molded polystyrene insulation board. PS molded polystyrene insulation board should be spliced tightly without obvious gaps to reduce the passage of outside air. During the installation process, special sealants can be used to seal the joints between boards to prevent water vapor from penetrating from the joints. For example, when installing PS molded polystyrene insulation board on the wall of the cold storage, strictly follow the construction specifications to make the PS molded polystyrene insulation board form a continuous and complete insulation layer, block the path of indoor and outdoor heat exchange, and reduce the risk of condensation.
Secondly, it is crucial to control the humidity inside the cold chain logistics building. The indoor humidity can be maintained at a reasonable level by installing dehumidification equipment. Generally speaking, the relative humidity should be maintained between 60% and 70%. When the humidity is high, the water vapor content in the air increases, and it is easier to condense into water droplets on the surface of the low-temperature ps molded polystyrene insulation board. At the same time, attention should be paid to the storage method of the goods to avoid the goods themselves emitting too much water vapor. For example, for some foods with high water content, they should be packaged and moisture-proofed to reduce the source of internal water vapor.
In addition, the ventilation system of the cold chain logistics building should be reasonably designed. Proper ventilation can promote air circulation and avoid excessive humidity in local areas. When designing ventilation, the needs of different seasons and different regions should be taken into account. For example, in the high temperature and high humidity environment in summer, the ventilation volume should be increased to discharge the hot and humid air in the room in time; in winter, the ventilation frequency can be appropriately reduced, but it is still necessary to ensure that the air has a certain exchange to prevent humidity accumulation due to poor air circulation. In addition, the location of the vents should also be reasonably arranged to prevent cold wind from blowing directly onto the surface of the ps molded polystyrene insulation board, causing condensation due to low local temperature.
Finally, a vapor barrier can be set on the surface of the EPS ps molded polystyrene insulation board. The vapor barrier can effectively prevent water vapor from penetrating into the PS molded polystyrene insulation board. Commonly used vapor barrier materials include polyethylene film. When laying the vapor barrier, its integrity and sealing should be ensured to cover the entire surface of the PS molded polystyrene insulation board and be properly connected to the wall, roof and other structures. Through this measure, even when the external humidity is high, the contact between water vapor and the PS molded polystyrene insulation board can be reduced, fundamentally reducing the possibility of condensation, thereby ensuring the thermal insulation performance and normal operation of the cold chain logistics building.
