How to ensure the adhesiveness of EPS decorative lines?

Publish Time: 2024-04-26
The adhesiveness of EPS decorative lines is mainly ensured through the following aspects:

First, choosing the right pasting material is key. Special polymer mortars or bonding mortars are usually used for bonding. These bonding materials have high adhesion and durability, ensuring a tight bond between the EPS lines and the wall.

Secondly, preparation work before construction is also very important. The wall surface must be cleaned to ensure that there is no oil, dust and other impurities, which will affect the bonding effect. At the same time, stretch the lines according to the design drawing to determine the exact position of the lines.

During the construction process, correct construction methods must be followed. First mix the adhesive according to the proportion requirements, then evenly apply adhesive mortar on the back of the EPS line, immediately stick it to the wall, and squeeze hard to ensure that the air between the line and the wall is completely exhausted.

In addition, in order to increase the bonding area and bonding force, the point frame method can be used for construction. When designed as a paint finish, the bonding area rate is not less than 60%; when designed as a tile finish, the bonding area rate is not less than 80%. This can greatly improve the bonding strength between the EPS lines and the wall.

Finally, care and maintenance after construction is completed is also important. The newly bonded EPS lines should be protected from rain erosion and human damage to ensure their firmness.

In general, by selecting appropriate bonding materials, making preparations before construction, following correct construction methods, and post-construction care and maintenance, the bonding firmness of EPS decorative lines can be effectively ensured.
